When people actually make a community with each other, the entire population had to give something that could and would benefit the entire people. This means that each person must have something that could be very useful to everyone that is involve in this matter at hand. So, each person must be able to carry some weight around.
This was a pretty good thing to have during the early days of humanity. The main idea being that everybody is able to give someone a thing that they may need for something that was needed by another person. Currency was soon to be introduced though as it was hard to keep the barter system up.

This was a huge boon in being that it began the start of modern history as man has known it to been.
