What Kasperskys Safe Money Has To Offer

Those who have been using ecommerce platforms to buy and sell products know how dangerous it is to leave credit card and other payment details in the database because these details become targeted by hackers who would use the money of customers to buy stuff. Fortunately though, the Kaspersky Safe money was created in order to combat these sort of instances. For those not familiar with this software, here are a few details one may want to know about it.

Now, just to give an idea, the inspiration for this project came from research done by Kaspersky Labs wherein they tried to find more about software that steal money or in transactions or credit card information. They found out that around one thousand five hundred banking malwares are created every single day. This means that there are a possible load of victims everyday as well.

Due to the rather alarming statistics, Kaspersky Labs attempted to derive a solution to help people protect themselves from unscrupulous hackers. It resulted in a special software that was included in the Kaspersky Internet Security and Anti Virus package.

What makes this software pretty cool is that it is able to detect whether a user is using a banking website or any website that has a payment facility. When it detects one, it will automatically activate without the user having to do anything. From there, it will start scanning the website and the transactions to see if there are any threats to security.

More often than not, people would usually buy stuff from random websites that are not even credible. Sometimes, those websites are actually just malware in disguised used to steal information. What it does is that it would detect whether or not the payment service is authentic or whether the site is riddled with malware or viruses. It would then send out a notification that this website is not authentic and should be avoided by the user.

Another feature that this cool software has would be an auto existing security evaluation scan. It would evaluate the existing security of the computer plus possible threats. From there, the software will then give some recommendations about further security and will also alert the user if one should use a particular payment service or not.

Lastly, it features a virtual keyboard wherein the user can type in payment information from his or her online wallet or credit card. Usually, the spyware from harmful websites would contain some kind of keylogger that would record whatever a person types. By using a virtual keyboard, one will be able to avoid being detected by the keylogger.

As one can see, this new software created by Kaspersky is really targeted to the people that always do transactions online. In order to protect from predators of information, this software can work wonders. It can even be used by both buyers and sellers, wherein one would need to handle transactions.
